Scottsdale, AZ, September 2007 – Whether on a personal getaway or a business trip, Scottsdale Resort & Athletic Club is providing guests with an extra sense of health and harmony while away from home with its new Fitness and Tranquility Villas.
As travelers increasingly seek experiences that enrich their lives and enhance their well-being, Scottsdale Resort & Athletic Club wanted to stay ahead of this trend by offering wellness and spa programs that focus on individualized services and treatments.

A winning combination of health, fitness and beauty has been seamlessly introduced into the privacy of the guests’ sumptuous suites to create a self-contained “total lifestyle experience.”
Inspired by Scottsdale Resort & Athletic Club’s 35,000 square-foot state-of-the-art fitness facilities, Fitness Villas offer complimentary, in-room fitness options including spin bike, Stepbox and Cardio Kickbox gloves and video for a complete heart-pumping cardio workout. To improve strength, flexibility, balance and core conditioning, each suite is outfitted with Bosu, body bar, free weights, stability balls, medicine balls and resistance bands. A basket filled with essential yoga equipment including a yoga mat, block and strap, Pilates ring, and yoga/Pilates ball help guests say goodbye to stress and stretch their way to serenity. For those with a preference for one-on-one training, the Athletic Club’s personal trainers are available by appointment as is the staff nutritionist. Personal training in Pilates and yoga are also offered. For guests who prefer pampering, the Eurasia Spa offerings a complete menu of massage therapy/spa services. Therapists are on hand to provide an assortment of treatments including Swedish, shiatsu, deep-tissue, and stone massage among others. Guests can opt to experience treatments in the relaxing spa or in the privacy of their own villa. Plus, after a long workout, guests can enjoy a snack from their Organic Minibar, offering a wide variety of healthy snacks and drinks.
The One-Bedroom Fitness Villa price starts at $349 per night from October 1 – December 26, 2007. From December 27, 2007 – April 30, 2008 the One-Bedroom Fitness rate start at $429 per night. The Tranquility Villas will provide all the comforts found in a traditional resort suite along with added features and services of a personal spa. Each Tranquility Villa will feature an expansive bedroom with sitting area, an oversized bathroom with deep soaking tub with neck pillow and separate enclosed shower. Plush Kashwere® robes, (one of Oprah’s favorites!), distinctive
Pure Fiji body butters, shower gels and amenities and Zents candles will complete the bathing experience. Special features of this private retreat will include fresh flowers and a CD library of spa music that can be enjoyed while relaxing on a private patio or balcony overlooking the pool. *A One-Bedroom Deluxe Fitness or Tranquility Villa is a larger version of the One-bedroom Villa (1,100 sq ft) and the master bath features an oversized couples shower.
Rates for the above packages are based on double occupancy and exclude taxes. Upgrades to a two-bedroom villa, three-bedroom luxury villa, or Presidential Suite at an additional add-on cost based on availability. All rates are subject to change and are based on availability.
