The logo for the Scottsdale Athletic Club is a graphic artist's stylized drawing of a Red-tailed Hawk.

For many years, we have had two resident Red-tailed Hawks who have graced the skies above our club. We have often interrupted our tennis games to watch them making "lazy circles in the sky." They have rested in the safety of the large pine trees that are located on our property and have hunted for prey in the adjacent open areas. Occasionally, they have watched a game of tennis from the top of our court lights.

We intend to maintain an environment that will continue to sustain and enhance the lives of these wonderful guests. They are symbols of grace, beauty and freedom - qualities to which all of us aspire.
